Complete waste of my time

Protagonist (Third Person): Before she even opened her eyes she knew she’d kill them. She’d kill them all and take them apart one by one ending with him so he could watch and see as she took everything away from him. She finally opened her eyes only to be met by darkness lit only solely by a sliver of moonlight shining in through a small barred window. The slight glow cast enough light to reveal a dim and dirty dungeon. My eyes roamed the room taking advantage of the moonlight. I already knew what I’d see but the sight still broke my heart. Four figures came into view against the opposite wall, wrists bound into the stone above their heads. Sage started after her but the sudden restriction and a glance upward revealed that she was immobilized in the same way. “Sage.” came a voice from one of the figures. It was Dylan. “Sage? Can you hear me?” he called out. She responded with dry voice and a crack in her tone. “Yeah. I’m up.
